H2bH 5K and 1M Fun Run 2026 Is Back!

Date: Saturday, August 8, 2026

Time: 7:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Race starts 8:30)

Location: New Ridge Fellowship, Gilbertsville

Come join the fun along the scenic and mostly shaded route through the beautiful countryside of New Hanover Township at the "H2bH 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk!" on August 8, 2026. Dogs are welcome too!

Awards will be presented to the top female and male plus top runner in each age group! Registration is open at 7:30 AM on race day.

Registration on the day of the race will be available with a price increase.

Our Mission

To enable families to provide a suitable home environment for children with chronic, long term, multiple disabilities to enhance their quality of life.

What We Do

Families caring for a medically fragile child often face overwhelming financial and emotional challenges. Home modifications are essential—but costly.

Happy 2 Be Home provides the funding for improvements to a family's house in order to make it suitable for their chronically ill child to be able to live there. The modifications or improvements that we provide depend on the individual situation. We will work closely with the family to determine what we can provide to improve their child's quality of life at home.

Happy 2 Be Home provides funding and support for renovations such as:

Wheelchair ramps and lifts
Accessible bathrooms and showers
Bedroom and bathroom conversions
Widened doorways and hallways
Safe entryways and home access
Basement and garage conversions
Emergency backup generators
And other custom modifications required for a child’s care

Our goal is to ensure every child can live safely at home, surrounded by family and comfort.
