At Happy 2 be Home, we are committed to transforming the lives of families with chronically ill children by providing them with suitable home environments. Here are some recent project updates
and exciting events happening in our community.
Project Updates
We are thrilled to welcome Nisorgo to the Happy 2 be Home family! A site visit is being scheduled to discuss their unique home modification needs. We believe that
every child deserves a safe and accessible home, and we're dedicated to making it happen.
We're delighted to announce that the wider door entrance for Alaina's house has been successfully installed, providing her with increased accessibility and
mobility.
Currently, we are seeking bids for modifications to address safety concerns with Trey's existing bathroom. Our goal is to create a secure and comfortable space
for him, allowing him to move freely within his home.
Candace's family, who is already a part of the Happy 2 be Home community, has reached out to us for assistance in installing a ramp. This ramp is crucial for
Candace's safety and independence when entering and exiting her home. Thanks to a generous grant of $3,500, we are able to make this modification possible.
Bids for Kelly's bedroom conversion are still in progress, as we work diligently to ensure her living space meets her specific needs.
If you know of a family with a chronically ill child who requires assistance in creating a suitable home environment to enhance their quality of life, please
encourage them to reach out to us. Together, we can make a difference.
Special Thanks
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to NHUMC for providing us with the opportunity to run the snack bar at their March 25th Craft Show. Through this event, we were
able to raise over $250, which will directly benefit the families we support.
A big thank you also goes out to Boyertown United Way for their continued support and partnership. Their commitment to our cause is invaluable, and we are
grateful for their ongoing contributions.
We are honored to have been selected as the recipient of the Keller Williams Texas Hold'em tournament, held on January 27, 2023. Thanks to their incredible
efforts, a check of over $9,000 was presented to Happy 2 be Home on April 12, 2023. We are truly grateful for their generosity and belief in our mission.

We understand that today's hectic lifestyle often leaves little time for meal preparation. That's where The Market Place comes in. Simply choose one of their delicious, nutritious meals, put it in
your slow cooker in the morning, and return home to a gourmet home-cooked feast in the evening. No hassle, no mess, just great food! Be sure to check back frequently to discover new culinary
delights.

Experience the beauty of the scenic rolling hills of New Hanover Township, alongside Swamp Creek Park and the Gilbertsville Golf Club, in our annual "If You Build
It, They Will Run" event. Whether you're a seasoned runner or participating for the first time, this event promises a memorable experience for all.
After the race, enjoy refreshments, music, and awards. Rain or shine, we will come together to support our cause. Stay tuned for registration information coming

Designer Purse Bingo

Join us for an exciting evening of Designer Purse Bingo! Play, donate raffle prizes, and volunteer to support our cause. Together, we can make a difference while having a fun-filled night. Your
participation will help us raise funds to create suitable home environments for children with chronic, long-term, and multiple disabilities.
How You Can Help
There are several ways you can lend a helping hand:
- Register to run or walk at the church or online at happy2behome.org.
- Proudly display our yard signs in your own yard to raise awareness about our cause.
- If running or walking isn't your preference, we need assistance at the registration table and snack table during the events.
