The daubers were out, the energy was high, and the excitement was palpable! We are absolutely thrilled to report that our 2026 Designer Purse Bingo fundraiser was a massive success, bringing our community together for a fantastic night of fun, laughter, and incredible generosity.
Thanks to all of you who came out, played, and supported our mission, we raised over $9,000! Every single dollar goes directly toward helping local families with children who have complex medical needs, making their homes safer and more accessible.
Back at the Keystone Fire Company
Once again, the Keystone Fire Company of Boyertown served as the perfect backdrop for our most anticipated event of the year.
The doors opened at 5:00 PM on Saturday, February 28, and it didn’t take long for the room to fill with eager players eyeing the spectacular lineup of prizes.
With 14 regular games, 2 special games, and 1 massive big jackpot game on the line, the tension—and the fun—built with every single number called. Beyond the bingo cards, the room was buzzing thanks to our incredible lineup of over 50 raffle items and door prizes, plus the highly coveted YETI Designer Tote Soft Cooler that had everyone talking!
Stories of Impact: Our Families Take the Stage
The true heart of the evening came when we were joined by several of our wonderful Happy 2 be Home families. Getting to hear them share their personal experiences, struggles, and the direct impact that home modifications have made on their children’s lives was a powerful reminder of why we all gather for this event.
Seeing the smiles on their faces and hearing their stories firsthand brought the mission to life, making every bingo win feel even more meaningful. We are so grateful to them for opening their hearts and sharing their journeys with us.
An Incredible Gift from an Anonymous Angel
While every Bingo event is special, this year featured an extra dose of magic. We want to extend a massive, heartfelt thank you to a generous anonymous donor who provided ten beautiful bags and purses for our games.
This incredible act of kindness not only elevated our prize selection to a whole new level but also ensured that more of the funds raised during the night could go straight to the families we serve. To our mystery donor: you truly embodied the spirit of Happy 2 be Home, and we are profoundly grateful for your support!
