Community, classic cars, and a commitment to helping others came together for an unforgettable day at the 14th Annual Rubright Racing Benevolent Show. Held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at the Norco Fire Company, this year’s event brought out the absolute best in our local community.
With 195 passionate attendees and participants gathering under the autumn sky, the energy was electric. Thanks to the incredible turnout, the event successfully raised $4,110 directly benefiting Happy 2 Be Home and their mission to provide safe, accessible home modifications for children with severe disabilities.
Making Connections & Sharing the Mission
The Happy 2 be Home team was out in full force! Bob spent the day at the Happy 2 be Home tent, greeting visitors, meeting wonderful people from the community, and sharing the heart behind our mission.
Meanwhile, Susan walked the show floor, catching up with participants and the event organizers to get the inside scoop on the incredible lineup of classic cars and trucks on display.
A Spectacular Lineup
From polished chrome to roaring engines, the vehicle showcase was a massive hit—and the competition was friendly but fierce! Bob even entered his own new truck into the show, joining a spectacular sea of automotive history.

The highlight of the afternoon was celebrating these stunning vehicles and recognizing this year’s trophy winners for their hard work and dedication to restoration. The event organizers also took a meaningful moment to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the veterans in attendance, honoring them for their service and sacrifice.
