On Saturday, November 1, 2025, the team at CoreFit Training Studio in Royersford hosted an inspiring day of fitness, community, and giving back, all to benefit Happy 2 be Home.

The charity event called HYROX + 5K Fun Run/Walk brought together participants of all ages and fitness levels for a morning dedicated to supporting families caring for children with chronic disabilities and long-term medical needs. Best of all, the event was open to the entire community, not just CoreFit members.
A Morning of Fitness and Fun
Participants had two ways to get involved:
HYROX Partner Simulation
The day began with an exciting HYROX partner-style workout featuring eight fitness zones completed in timed heats. Teams challenged themselves while encouraging one another throughout the event, creating an energetic and supportive atmosphere.

5K Fun Run/Walk
Later in the morning, runners, walkers, families, and friends gathered for the 5K Fun Run/Walk. The out-and-back course provided a fun and accessible opportunity for community members of all ages to participate while supporting a great cause.

The event took place at CoreFit Training Studio’s parking lot at Main and 3rd Streets in Royersford, serving as the perfect gathering place for participants, volunteers, vendors, and supporters.
More Than a Fitness Event
In addition to the fitness activities, attendees enjoyed a variety of local vendors and small businesses that helped make the event a true community celebration. Local favorites, including Love To Sprinkle cupcakes, wellness providers, massage vendors, and other small businesses, joined the festivities. Many vendors generously donated all or a portion of their proceeds to Happy 2 be Home.
The combination of fitness, local businesses, and community spirit created an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
Why CoreFit Chose Happy 2 be Home

The fundraiser was inspired by CoreFit’s successful charity event earlier in the year, which raised $12,000 for brain tumor awareness. As plans began for their next community fundraiser, the CoreFit team selected Happy 2 be Home because of the organization’s mission and the impact it has on local families.
Several members of the CoreFit community have personal connections to Happy 2 be Home and understand firsthand the challenges faced by families caring for children with long-term medical needs. Supporting home modification projects that improve safety, accessibility, and quality of life made the choice an easy one.
Thank You to CoreFit and the Community
We are incredibly grateful to the owners, staff, participants, vendors, volunteers, and sponsors who helped make this event a success. Every registration, donation, and contribution supported Happy 2 be Home’s mission of creating safer, more accessible homes for children with disabilities.
Events like this demonstrate the power of a community coming together to make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.
Thank you, CoreFit, for choosing Happy 2 be Home as the beneficiary of nearly $4,000 from this special event and for helping us continue changing lives, one home at a time.
